ZETA finishes the Paris bracket on top
ZETA DIVISION is the 2026 OWCS Midseason champion. The Korean first seed defeated Twisted Minds 4-2 in Sunday's grand final, turning an expensive offseason rebuild into an international title in Paris.
The result also gives OWCS another distinct major winner. ZETA entered the year with championship expectations after assembling Proper, KNIFE, BERNAR, Mealgaru, Shu and Viol2t under head coach Crusty. On the final weekend, the roster finally converted that ceiling into a trophy.
No playoff series reached a deciding map
ZETA's bracket run was unusually clean for a 16-team international. Dallas Fuel fell 3-0 in the quarterfinal, and T1 met the same score in the semifinal. Those sweeps put ZETA into the final with every composition still available and no recovery series to play.
Twisted Minds arrived through the other side after a 3-2 semifinal against Weibo Gaming. They took two maps from ZETA in the final, but could not turn the series into the seven-map fight that decided the earlier Champions Clash.
A roster built for pressure delivers
Proper supplied the star damage threat expected when he joined, while BERNAR's stability gave ZETA room to play aggressively. Shu and Viol2t repeatedly turned broken fights back in ZETA's favor, and KNIFE gave the lineup another carry option instead of forcing every map through one player.
That depth is what separated the champions from a field that had already eliminated Crazy Raccoon and Team Falcons before the top three. ZETA did not need the same player to solve every map.
The season now turns toward the World Finals
Paris is the second major stop on the 2026 OWCS calendar. Regional Stage 3 competition follows before the World Finals run December 2 through December 6.
ZETA leaves the Midseason Championship with the trophy and a clearer claim than any power ranking could provide. Twisted Minds remains an international finalist, but the team to beat after Paris is ZETA DIVISION.
